David Lazãr

Hello, stranger! You've just wandered on my corner of the World Wide Web. It ain't much, but it's mine. Feel free to look around, and see if you find anything useful.

As you might have guessed, my name is David Lazãr. I'm a twenty-something1 dude from Brasov, Romania.

After spending my last five years at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca and the last four months at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zürich, I've finally graduated (as a computer-science engineer) and I'm back in Brasov, enjoying the last summer holiday I'll ever have. Sad, isn't it? ;-)

As for hobbies, I'm really fond of Free Software in general and of Debian GNU/Linux, in particular. See the links section for details.

I also enjoy mountaineering. Although I haven't had time for that in a while, I still long for a trip in the mountains. Related to this, I'm a photographer-wannabe. I've just bought my first digital camera, so I'll probably post the pictures I'll be the least ashamed of. Watch the gallery section for those.

Since you've read all the way to here, you might as well see what other things I've said recenty, or maybe see what I've done.

If you think there's anything I can help you with, feel free to drop me a line2.

[1] I was born in 1981.

[2] ... and, as Linus Torvalds put it, I'll feel free to ignore you, if I don't share that view. ;-)
